There will be TWO award ceremonies at during the 2026 Conference

• The Awards Luncheon will take place on April 29
• The Student of the Year Awards Dinner will be held on April 30.

Who in your professional life deserves recognition?  We encourage YOU to submit awards nominations for deserving students, educators, and other professionals!

The Awards Committee is eager to receive nominations for:

🌺The Student of the Year Awards

🌺The Adult Educator Awards

Teachers, tutors, and case managers are a vital component of adult education programming and are responsible for making a difference in the lives of our students. This is an opportunity to show our gratitude for their work and dedication to adult learners.

🌺The Lawrence Levin Professional Award

The nominee must be an administrator of an adult education program and/or professional involved in adult continuing/community education programs for at least ten years, be a current member of NYACCE, and must have made unique contributions to both adult continuing/community education and the Association.

🌺NYACCE Service Award

This award goes to a person(s) not directly employed in adult education programs such as: an advisory committee member, a board of education member or community leader, legislator, editor, writer, or agency staff member who has made unusual or outstanding contributions to the development and progress of adult and continuing education.
